1000 was created in 1972 after 10 years of careful blending and perfecting by the great Jean Patou perfumer, Jean Kerleo. This was first introduced as a true haute couture fragrance; made to order upon request. 1000 was carefully made with a blend of the worlds most exotic flowers and essential oils; Chinese Osmanthus, Jasmine from Grasse, and Bulgarian Rose. An elegant, refined and classy fragrance recommended for special occasions. 1000 was named for the thousand different flowers used in it.

In 1972, faithful to his reputation as an exceptional, audacious perfumer, Patou created "1000", a lavish, exuberant, unreasonable perfume... A symphony composed of a multitude of precious oils, "1000" isn't shy about its wealth. Around a heart of Chinese osmanthus, an oriental flower with subtle apricot notes, Jean Kerleo composed a splendid harmony - centifolia and damascena roses, violet odorata, jasmine from Grasse, sandalwood from Mysore, patchouli from Indonesia.

BASE NOTES: Sandal, Patchouli, Vetiver, Civet


THE BOTTLE: The "1000" bottle, classic and pure, is made of beautiful hand-polished glass. The gilded stopper is futher enhanced with Jean Patou's monogram engraved in the glass.
